that wasn't a problem.īut the thing is that we are logging each and every error that might occur by doing exception handlings on all procedures that we have. Now the error was because of the unique constraint violation on table EX_INVOICE_HEADER. Lately we encountered this issue where an error occurred in procedure DM_INVOICE as shown below. In my company, we are currently developing an ETL to migrate data from an oracle database to a HANA database. :timeframe_length DO prev_Day := ADD_DAYS (:discomfort_Day, :eventID * (-1)) SELECT "VALUE" INTO value FROM "ENVIRONMENTAL_DATA" WHERE "PROPERTY" = :property AND "DATE" = :prev_Day INSERT INTO "PATTERN_T" VALUES (:sequenceID, :eventID, :value, :property) END FOR sequenceID := sequenceID +1 END FOR
) LANGUAGE SQLSCRIPT SQL SECURITY INVOKER DEFAULT SCHEMA TEST_SYSTEM ASīEGIN DECLARE eventID INT DECLARE sequenceID INT :=1 DECLARE prev_Day DATE DECLARE discomfort_Day DATE DECLARE item FLOAT DECLARE timeframe_length INT = 5 DECLARE CURSOR c_cursor1 FOR SELECT "DATE" FROM "DISCOMFORT_T" ORDER BY "DATE" FOR cur_Row as c_cursor1 DO SELECT cur_Row."DATE" INTO discomfort_Day FROM DUMMY FOR eventID IN 1. PROCEDURE "MY_SYSTEM"."My_Project.procedures::pattern_Identification" ( IN property VARCHAR(50) Is there away to do the same just via select statements without use of cursor? And want to select from my environmental data for all properties the measured values from the days before a discomfort.
I have some problem with avoid using cursor in my procedures. Thanks a lot in advance for your comments and suggestions. That's what I'd like to avoid as well somehow with HANA. The final aim for attending to this training is, of course, to have the opportunity of using it hands-on on a project! Now, given my years of experience in ABAP, companies hire because of that and it results difficult to apply the new skills in BI/BW. Of course, any additional learning to those ones you currently have is always a plus, but my question is more related to if SAP HANA would be a "natural" step and if would give an additional value to my already existing skills. Trying to boost my skills and career I was wondering if for a consultant with my profile, to attend to HA100, HA200 and HA300 training courses and then study for clearing the corresponding certification is a logical step forward given my current skills (would it be difficult to follow these courses as per my current knowledge?), or maybe I should focus better on other technical path such as PI/XI, etc.
I'm a senior ABAP consultant, also certified in BW/BI (although with no chance to gain some experience on this yet) with more than 7 years of experience. SAP DBTech JDBC: : invalid data source configuration: Invalid UDF Properties: line 4 col 1 (at pos 176) But still it is throwing error asĬould not execute 'CREATE VIRTUAL FUNCTION HADOOP_CUST_UDF RETURNS TABLE ("id" integer, "f_name" varchar(255). The entire configuration is in single line. 'datetime_format=yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss date_format=yyyy-MM-dd time_format=HH:mm:ss.S enable_remote_cache=true remote_cache_validity=3600 hdfs_location=/user/hive/warehouse/customer/custs'
I went ahead to create a Virtual UDF using the below syntax :ĬREATE VIRTUAL FUNCTION HADOOP_CUST_UDF RETURNS TABLE The remote source was created successfully although when I double click on the remote source and try to open it WITH CREDENTIAL TYPE 'PASSWORD' USING 'user=user_name password=password' I created a remote source using the below script :ĬONFIGURATION 'webhdfs.url= hostA:50111' I'm using hana box which is SPS 09 and I'm trying to integrate it to hadoop.ġ.
